    Why not carpet bomb linkedin?

    I join the groups related to my specialty, extract the names of the members - guess out their email addresses and carpet bomb my CV out.

    I have automated this.

    This has got me 2 contracts so far. No agency involved.

    You just need a decent linkedin profile with a couple of senior referees posting on it.
