Yes they did cheat - bowled three no bowls over a 5 day test - and I would imagine the impact of this on the actual result of the game was zero.


Is it the impact on the game or the impact on the bookmakers which is causing more uproar?

I think it's more the potential to influence more than just a small thing. They manipulated a minor part of the game, but it was intended to be a demonstration that the right people could influence the players to do more.
