Young people of today, they've never had it so bad! In my day, you could buy a large detached house for £50K, and fill up your car for £20, and a night out cost a tenner. Tut, bloody kids eh?

Nice doom video. There's so much doom flying around now that a cynical person might say it was being manufactured. A spoonful of doom makes the medicine go down...in the most delightful way. More inclined to believe the doom though.

Doomed
Turns into a bit of an advert but the arguments against the main points are pretty weak.

To paraphrase
1/ FTSE to crash
2/ Property Market to crash
3/ Euro ****'d
4/ Bond market ****'d
First two are bolstered by quantitative easing and FTSE value is further falsified by short term cost cutting which will soon run out of steam.Last edited by Bagpuss; 31 October 2011, 22:54.Tags: None
