    It's my eldest's birthday on haloween, so every trick or treater group had to sing happy birthday before they got anything!

    For the first time in years, none.

    Perhaps all the local kids have finally worked out they ain't getting anything from me.

    BTW, all those of you who dish out home made goodies, do you ask the kids if they have any allergies, e.g. nut, before letting them help themselves?

    No trick or treaters, but we had a zombie busker outside the shopping centre. Pay him a quid or something and he will dance like a zombie for two minutes. Or rather, picture a middle aged balding guy wearing a 'blood splattered' shirt and make-up doing some kind of dad dance. And people were actually paying him and looking on embarrassed hoping it would stop. In fact the 3 girls that had paid and who were rootedto the spot, too embarrassed to walks away, were overheard to nervously ask "how long does this go on for". Sign of the times.
