Truth is SO hurt!!! The main point is the welfare system is linking to motivation to work. Having read some comments here, some people refused to believe what Mr. Jin said and defended by how bad China behave!!! However, if some /many people prefer to live on benefits by having number of kids at young age, then, we do not have any way out from recession. If this kind of speech was delivered by Mr Cameron or Miliband, I am wondering what will the feedback like??? - me, uk, 20/10/2011 14:40

Or put them in a house 10-12 at a time and let them huddle together for warmth.Originally posted by gingerjedi View PostWe put them in one bed apartments and occasionally a nurse may or may not visit to see if they've fallen/frozen/starved, all for £900 a week.
What's wrong with the 'Golden Girls' approach? Put 'em in a house 4 or 5 at a time and get a live in carer, more civilised and much more cost effective.
(I heard this on the Radio about 3 years ago, makes good sense to me)

We have to care for our old and sick as we don't have enough space in which to bury them.

We bustle our old people off to stinking care homes paid for by the state & forget about them while they have extended families and treat their elders with respect.

Well in that case there's no guarantee that anyone in Europe will be able to afford the stuff coming out of Chinese factories.Mr Jin also warned that there was no guarantee China would come to the rescue of Europe’s ailing banks.

Three bowls of rice a day are more than enough.
