Whigs and Tories. People often refer to the Conservatives as the Tories. But Whigs and Tories was in another time, might as well be another planet.

"How about, "The A team?""
I pity da fool who came up with that one

I know it sounds thick, but I think the Conservatives should consider renaming the party.
They did it once before, when they were the wigs (sp?).
Suggestions please (and not New Conservatives please).
How about, "The A team?"

Cameron could easily pick this up and run with it.
He said at the outset that he wanted to introduce new politics. He wanted to get away from the automatic nay saying and to propose that a good idea gets support no matter its source.
With a decent spin doctor on the job he could well use this as a positive image.

Would be quite a laugh if Cameron et al turned it round and before you knew it 'Dave the Chameleon' is next Xmas' most wanted toy.
I'd suggest Tory HO get on the phone quick and check whether NL was stupid enough to not think of trade marking it....

I reckon this negative campaigning will bite liebour in the arse - certainly the QT audience weren't impressed with it.

Milan.
I can remember he was once CND, which he obviously isn't now, and he also got rid of trust schools only to bring them back in a more complicated form.
But in what else has he changed direction?
