Saturday we went to the beach with the kids, flew kites, eat a picnic and watched the coastguard hovercraft pluck stupid brummies from the mud.
Sunday we had a carvery and Jazz in the Royal, blissful weekend had by all.

Friday night, St Albans beer festival.
Saturday barby in back garden. Again beer was a significant feature
Sunday sea fishing off Mersea Island. Again very much a beer related activity.
Sun burnt to feck though.

Well I had a crap weekend!
I waited around for ages for the windscreen replacement people to turn up. 3 hours late and eating into a gorgeous Sat afternoon.
Went into Leeds in the wife's car for bit of shopping and a few drinks, got back to the car and it had been broken into, glass flipping everywhere. Contacted the Police told them nothing had been stolen and so no attendance, car park attendant helped vac most of the glass up and went home pretty much annoyed at the world.
Next morning went to get my mobile phone.............................
yep you've guessed, I'd forgot it was in the car (I don't tend to carry it around at the weekends). What a fecking idiot! My wife gave me that knowing look and I whithered and then grovelled.
Luckily we're off to Rome on friday and Mr Gucci will help me out.
Then to cap it all lost half a tooth eating bread and jam! Homemade plum jam from one of the wife's friends with some stones still in!
