No doubt she took that to mean the evil spirits were fighting to get out.
If this is actually what has happened then the defence argument should be taken to it's logical conclusion, i.e. until someone understands basic priniciples of human rights (and that's not to say that those who do still don't sometimes abuse them), then there should be restrictions on them residing in the country...
