Why would you want to solve this so-called 'problem'?

    Telephone call quality

I quite often cannot hear a significant amount of the twaddle her indoors comes out with when she phones because the quality of the sound is just hopeless. We have resorted to use of landline phones at times to avoid this - if thay can put a man on the moon etc how come making a reliable and intelligible mobile phone call between two stationary parties is so hard?

    Skype's hardly any use either.
