    This bit might interest wxman:

“They can strike anywhere in the UK, although it is the Midlands down towards the South, the so-called ‘tornado alley’, which is most at risk,” he said. “There may also be the chance of seeing water spouts whipped up by tornadoes.

Found the article (took a bit of finding though):

Express.co.uk - Home of the Daily and Sunday Express | UK News :: 65mph storms to hit Britain

PREPARE to be battered by weeks of torrential rains coupled with 65mph gale-force winds that will end the coldest British summer for 20 years.

Last night forecasters warned that violent storms and sustained, driving rain will bring a risk of structural damage and flash floods.

If that’s not bad enough, they also warned of a big freezesevere frosts that could hit as early as November, heralding “another cold winter”.
    ...and so on

Did you see the front page of the Daily Express today? It has a great looking weather related doom headline. Storms followed by a big freeze or something. I can't find it on-line.

    Good to know, thanks.

I'd have rented eight, one for each PA. Always fancied a bit of Octopussy.

As for the original question ("Where's Sasguru?"), I believe they've let him out at last.
