Oh goody. I nearly vomit on the airport bus every time such is the ride. Potholes all the way to town.

Looks like the SNP have changed their mind, and the trams will run to St Andrews Square.

Nope, it'll be finished on time and then the running of it is probably handed over to either public servants or outsourced so it won't run on time. Actually it might not be finished on time. Some of the public transport work I've been seeing in Germany recently hasn't been brilliant, take a look at what happened with the new underground in Köln for example and out local buses seem to not run too much on time (probably because they outsourced the driving to a private company.)

If it stops at haymarket it stops a 3 minute walk from the front door

Stopping at Haymarket is just mental, turfing out all these tourists at the first stop when they hit the city right across from all the pissed up tramps that sit at the public toilets. And god knows why the picked that route into the city, it is hardly pleasing on the eye the deepest west end along the train line.

They have to finish it now and finish it right down to ocean terminal no matter how much it costs, there is no point in having it half finished. The worst part is the 25 bus did pretty much the whole route for a 1.30 flat fare and getting to the airport was well catered for with private bus routes.

Maybe the Edinburgh people never wanted it but they never voted against it when it came to the ballot box so they shut their traps, put up with it and pay for it no matter how long it takes.

Unbelievably so. Even terminating short of where it should it'll need to be subsidised and will run at a loss.
