Young (black) lad stabbed in a fight and police more interested in detaining and interrogating him than getting him medical help. SUS laws. Massive unemployment with (black) communities badly hit. Powder keg. Black and White cafe and boom

Poll tax: Unpopular legislation. Grabbed by lefties and socialists who quoted 1800s poll tax riots as the proper answer. Peaceful demos hijacked by the same loony lefties and other malcontents.

Although there is rarely justification for rioting I can see why the ones you mention happened. Once they start a lot of people can get carried along with it.

There is not even the slightest excuse for this weeks riots.

Yes he was a rampant socialist in that he (and Brown especially) hugely increased the scope of the welfare state.

Blair did the right thing in regard to deregulating markets and encouraging the economy, but that's beside the point; he was guilty of increasing degenerative social spending.
