Please explain how a national ID card will stop multiple registrations from a single address? Why would you want to anyways? I have multiple cars, are these fscking socialcysts going to stop me having cars in my collection that have UK number plates?

    Speeding / Parking Tickets

Seems some naughty/ clever people have been using mail drop addresses to register their motor vehicles.... & when plod / bailiff comes calling for speeding tickets etc, no further action can be taken. The DVLA 'puter cannot recognise multiple registrations from a single address as it assumes multi vehicle ownership.

The latest proposal from DVLA is to use the impending national ID card to validate the address.

Anyone see any negatives to doing this?
