Best lightbulbs for my office?

I am renovating a small place to serve as my office, I expect to be spending there 8 hours a day easily and I am thinking what would be the best light source (other than the sun, of course, which should be non-existent in the winter anyway), I am thinking definitely not CCFL and definitely not halogen bulbs, so maybe white LEDs or "daylight" bulbs?
