    Smoking can be more harmful if the person does sport. This is because the tar and partials embed themselves in the lung even more than a person who does not do exercise.

    BTW: I knew a Gym coach who though that smoking would not harm him because he worked out. He died of lung cancer at 32.

    I seem to recall that Socrates, captain of the Brazilian football team in the early 80s used to smoke 40 a day.
