If we're trotting out Macc Lads lyrics......here is my personal fave, from 'Charlotte'
I thought, now lad, times are 'ard,
It's nearly closing time,
I'll put a bag on 'er 'ead,
And a peg on me nose,
And I'll rummage through the slime......
As you point out, it's poetry

'Couldn't believe the size of her bum, she used to play for wigan in the back of the scrum, sweaty betty'
'vauxhall viva's full of rust but you can't shag a bird on the 29 bus, sweaty betty'
Majic.....

Like that bird on the apprentice, greats dunnit.Originally posted by jmo21 View PostThere is a new contractor in the office, who thankfully I don't need to speak to that often, but he is within earshot.
He finishes 95% of his sentences with "yeah?" at the end of them, even those that do not need to be questions.
My old gran, god bless her soul, smacked that habit out of me when I was younger and started using "right?" in a similar fashion.
I'm not sure who is worse, him or the guy that says "pacifically" when he means "specifically" 20 times a day.
Me? I'm perfect obviously!
