Agreed. I've even seen people use goto to jump to the end of the function because they've been told not to return in the middle.

The magazine thingy they sent out was handy .. had lots of useful tips etc in it ... but that was an age ago

What I'm specifically interested in is, are they just a bunch of geeks who meet for the odd pint and score points off each other with regards to who has read the latest "Ansi C++ Standard" or are they a real organisation worthy of joining?
