Probably no more than 2-3 days. I transfer money from Canada and that takes 4-5 days. Though if you're transferring quite bit (we're talking thousands) you'd probably want to use a broker as banks don't give very good rates of exchange.

SWIFT transfers credit same day if made before the cutoff time which, for sterling, is 3:30PM in the UK IIRC.

Hello Everyone,
Just wondering if anyone could tell me how long it takes to transfer money from an Irish bank account to a UK account. my bride is having some money sent this way and wants to know how long it will take.
