ROME - The Afghan man who faced the death penalty after converting from Islam to Christianity flew to Rome on Wednesday after the Italian government granted him asylum. Abdul Rahman, 41, "is already in Italy. I think he arrived overnight," Premier Silvio Berlusconi said.

Its bulltulip though isnt it. There is a sura which speaks about those who follow the path (Muslims) those who dont (all other religions and atheists) and those who have turned from the path the aleter two being called unbelievers.
The fate of the unbeleivers is defined in the chapter called The Women. from about 70 onwards.

If you can be bothered "The Women" holds a lot of stuff to be aware of.

We need more Christians here at the moment, particularly one who was prepared to face death for his faith.

Yes, this for one is a genuine asylum seeker and the UK should be right out in front to offer him a place. Maybe the 'plane that goes to pick him up can take some none-genuine ones back.

Ladies and Gentlemen, place your bets . . .

An Afghan man who faced execution for converting from Islam to Christianity has been released from jail.

Abdul Rahman was freed from a Kabul prison after prosecutors dropped an apostasy charge.

The release followed a UN statement that Mr Rahman had appealed for asylum outside Afghanistan and that the body was working to find a country willing to take him.
