    They were great in snow and icy weather too, but by the 90s they felt a bit tank like and dated. The 9000 was a decent drive, but somehow they got stuck at that point, and GM took over shortly after.

    True, but in the 80's they used to be a viable alternative to BMW/Mercedes.
