    It strikes me as a great father/daughter bonding opportunity where you earn brownie points off the Missus + get to watch (some admittedly poor) football + spend some time with one of your kids + get to watch 90 minutes of fit birds running around.

    Best part of women's football is when they swap shirts at full time!


    (and if you want to be pedantic Arsenal Ladies have won 9 of the last 10 leagues including the last 7 before the restructure to the Women's Super League)

    Bearing in mind I know bugger all about sport, and even less about football, can someone explain why it wasn't a full house?

    I'd have thought it would have been full of mums 'n' daughters or dads 'n' daughters. (And Benny Hill types.)

    Is it because it is poorly publicised, or not 'mum friendly' or is women's football just crap?

    Since there's always a crowd even at amateur matches, surely there must be some interest?
