They played at the Coventry Ricoh stadium (or, as I knew it, "that big place next to Tesco's") and had an attendance of 13,885.

Bearing in mind I know bugger all about sport, and even less about football, can someone explain why it wasn't a full house?

I'd have thought it would have been full of mums 'n' daughters or dads 'n' daughters. (And Benny Hill types.)

Is it because it is poorly publicised, or not 'mum friendly' or is women's football just crap?

Since there's always a crowd even at amateur matches, surely there must be some interest?
