After my son's swimming lesson, when I was changing him, some song came on. He immediatly said "hey, it's lady gaga". How a 5 y/o knows who lady Gaga is when we don't play pop music in the house I have no idea.

His favourite song at the moment is Surfin' Bird by The Trashmen and he can't get enough of the The Family Guy video of it on YouTube. Though he calls it "sufferin bird".

Yep. Better if the ladies lose the pants.

I feel fine thanks. I just dislike much of modern popular culture.

But the song, most of the lyrics were unintelligible, you heard the odd English word or phrase like an East European singing on Eurovision. Lady Gaga is all paid dancers and costumes. Hardly living up to all the hype.

So we finally understand the source of your self-loathing.

Sorry but her new song, it was like Eurovision de ja vue. She has become a parody of herself.
Just because she wears designer outfits doesn’t mean she is any good.
Agreed. Plus she looked like a total freak. Ironic that the gorgeous Gwyneth Paltrow was sitting next to her.

Two reasons not to watch it

Graham Norton can be funny, but the Graham Norton show generally isn't (probably down to the staff writers)
