How is it that Spain have got three top marks of 12 out of 33 countries so far, but virtually bugger-all else from the other 30 countries?

Indeed Zippy. Just how any act imagines they can ascend to the pinnacle of Eurovisual Supremacy without some form of wheeled vehicle in evidence is beyond me. They did not even try and save themselves with a collection of comic chapeaux.

And the Ukrainian effort was dreadful. Sounded like some depressing ode to Chernobyl or something.
If these are the songs that made it through the qualifiers, just how bad must the losing options have been? Maybe they save them up for use on terrorists that don't respond to waterboarding?
