Head down to Croyde or Woolacombe if they fancy a day at the beach body/surf boarding, West Somerset Railway is good for a day out (runs from Minehead), Boat trips from Ilfracombe are very good, nice pasties there too mmyomyom.

It's that time of year again
I like to take the grandkids away once a year, to give my daughter some space
last year I took them to see the balloon festival in Bristol, last night I booked a week on a working farm, near patchole exmoor.

does anyone have any local knowledge or ideas ???
