    Physiotherapy is borderline quackery anyway.

NHS going to rack and ruin…..

Saw my GP over my dodgy knee – needing physio as my hamstring is very tight and also affecting m lower back. I usually get a physio session every couple of years which keeps me ticking.

GP said that budget for physio is cut way back, and if managed by drugs (on Voltorol and codeine), all is well so no physio needed.

Asked if Ii have private cover to pay for it, which I don’t (despite being a permie).

Been packed off for an x-ray to the knee which is a good start, but, given that all the ligaments and bones are in the right place, it really needs an MR scan to show anything clearly, but humoured her and taking tomorrow afternoon out of work for the pleasure.

Very tempted just to go to physio privately – there is a good sports physio at my gym.

Just rather amazed at the short sightedness asking me to keep takking medication which is longer term going to cost more than the cost of a couple of physio sessions to ease things off!
