Wow, you kept that one quiet!
To be honest, compared to house price and evolution discussions, what I do to pay the bills isn't very interesting. It's not like I design time machines or anything, unlike some of the more interesting fellows here.

Re: Found it in the street
But what exactly do you do for these sectors?
Nowadays a mixture of business analysis, project management, and management consultancy (depending on what the punter wants), but I started out as a Cobol bod on Unisys 1100 mainframes.
Marine insurance is my main forte, although I have done telecoms, manufacturing and retail travel gigs as well.
But what exactly do you do for these sectors? Programming, systems analysis/design, management consultancy, strategy, TDA...

How did you swing that!?
By re-labelling myself as a consultant and doubling my rate. In the city, there is still very much a "reassuringly expensive" attitude in many sectors. Marine insurance is my main forte, although I have done telecoms, manufacturing and retail travel gigs as well.
More and more these days I am ramping up my plan B (which is nothing to do with IT at all).

What the hell were you searching for to find this ????
Lucifer, what do your work colleagues think when you are selecting your pictures? You must obviously have some sort of quality process during which you evaluate the catch.

Never mind that, check this out for the ultimate geek accessory. It's probably made of PVC as well.
