Stumbled across them while looking for laptops with decent resolution screens (i.e. at least 1080p) and then checked the reviews/reputation to find they are well regarded from what I saw. Not yet bought from them but intend doing soon.
yeah this is where I got my new lappy from - great service, my only complaint was that it came with the Windows 7 installer (when I specified no OS) and the only way to get XP on there was to format the drive - in my frustration to get going I forgot to get the drivers off the disk so when I installed XP half my components didn't work - not to worry though rung the guys there and they sent me a driver disk with all the XP stuff I needed that I couldn't find online.

word of advice though if going for a large screen laptop- don't get the xl carry case- its whopping!

    WSS.

Get a Dell. Lots of deals and vouchers and money off on the web. A million corporate customers can't be wrong.

    HP all the way.

Both Desktops and Laptops let you do a restore to factory state very quickly and easily. Also not bad in terms of reliability, looks and use.

If you're going to reload from scratch, just get a cheap one with the required hardware spec. I recently did that with an Acer. Wiped the disc and rebuilt. Now it's fast with no f***ing nag screens and other unwanted sh*t running on it!

    New laptop

2004 Dell D600 has finally packed up. Need a replacement, doesn't have to be all bells and whistles. 400 notes, any recommendations ? Would like ability to reload from scratch if possible (only way to fix a lot of issues).
Working...
