I worked with a fella who had spent a lot of time out in these places working and he said if you were at traffic lights and a native ran into the back of you in his car it was your fault because they beleive the accident would not have happened if you were not in their country, he told me of an incident where the locals had been working on an aircraft and when the aircraft took of a large part fell off, there just happened to be a foreign worker driving down the side of the runway at the time and he got the blame cos he should have seen what was happening and stopped it.
Not sure how true this kind of behavior is over there and maybe someone will bealong in a moment to tells how it realy is but itdoes make you thinlk twice about going out there

Not prefect but tends to be the best for the sheeple overall...
I also see all the benefits and hand-outs as just the tax required to keep a lid on the huge numbers who would be prowling the streets eating the rest of us if they ever got hungry enough. Sky telly, vicarious 3rd party enjoyment of other peoples sporting success, fast food, tabs, drugs and ale keep most of 'em quiet - it's the cost of doing business.

A British tourist who died in police custody in Dubai was allegedly subjected to severe beatings by officers. He was jailed following an argument with a hotel maid who entered his room unannounced.
Other inmates told his family in the UK of the horror of witnessing up to six police officers strip and handcuff the Essex maintenance worker, before holding him down in a chair and beating him with their fists, feet and batons.
They claimed Mr Brown's lifeless body was then dragged away to another cell where he died three days later from his injuries.
It is also reported that while in custody, police denied him access to a lawyer and gave him little food and water.
The Brown family first heard about the incident when Mr Brown's sister in the UK answered a phone call from a fellow inmate. She said the prisoner claimed he found her number as the next of kin contact in her brother's photocopied passport details left in his cell.

Likely there is more to this story than is reported, but the treatment seems a bit harsh.
