Even Google seems to be getting twitchy about Facebook at the moment. Who'd have thunk that just a couple of years ago?

Do you think it's a good time to buy SAP shares, given they are at an all time high at the moment?Originally posted by milanbenes View PostSAP - SAP® HANA 1.0 Enables Breakthrough Data Management With In-Memory Computing Engine

Hi Sysman,
hope you are doing fine and life is treating you well
Doco from .net says that this stuff for bi will be here this year and there are already training courses running on it - so it's going to be generally available for productive use this year
didn't know that about hp
funny eh, a few years ago that silly cow what's her name carly florian said that their reduction in profit was because of .net and now they want to buy them

the end of databases as we know themInteresting. But it is only version 1.0 at the moment. I anticipate it will be a while before it's ready for proper production use.It has the ability to scan 2 million records per millisecond per core and over 10 million complex aggregations calculated on the fly per second per core.
Mind you, if the recent suggestion I saw in the media comes true (HP ought to buy SAP), it could just get lost in a sea of printer ink.
