KDB Q Analyst Programmer - Urgent Requirement, We are working on behalf of a leading Bank who are seeking a strong Analyst Programmer to work on large scale Tick Data Platforms. This role reports directly into the Head of E-trading globally and is a stand alone opportunity in the UK.
We are looking to speak to dynamic career minded individuals who have strong experience developing implementing and supporting KDB Technical environments.
We would like to talk to you if you have previous experience in the data/analytics area, have knowledge of software development life cycle processes, excellent knowledge of planning and communication technique real and demonstrable knowledge of financial services, specifically the equities business within banking though other asset classes would be a bonus. You should have worked with traders, Quant's and other business staff,
Technical Summary for this role:
KDB system - because this is a senior role you must have extensive knowledge in this area is and is pre-requisite
Q programming language - extensive development skills in this area are a pre-requisite also
Nice to have skills:
Java development skills would be advantageous
Unix (preferably Linux & Solaris)
Scripting (Shell & Perl)
Configuration Management
Build and Release technologies
