That's more or less what I did last year.

The year before that I noticed something interesting. When one makes a 'phone me' signal, by placing one's hand to an ear whilst curling the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fingers into the palm, leaving just the little finger and thumb extended, I noticed that with my right hand when I curl the ring finger down, my little finger goes down with it. But, and here's the really interesting bit, with my left hand I can curl those 3 digits down with with barely a flicker of movement out of my little finger. Being right-handed one might expect that hand to be more dexterous.

Indeed, for that very reason my daughter has said that she definitely WON'T be watching.

Same for that child thing the Beeb inflict on us every year.
I remember being out in Bath on Comic Relief night a couple of years ago and it was like the whole of "Henman Hill" had descended and taken the place over.

I shall be stood in the main entrance shaking my money bucket under the noses of any churlish individuals not game enough to join in this great British Institution.
    Is that tomorrow?

I've got some Spanish friends staying this weekend & I wanted to take them out to Bath for the evening.

Don't think I'm going to bother if it's going to mean encountering people sat in bath tubs full of baked beans etc & having them think we're a nation of complete f*ckwits.

Having said that, they're from Benidorm so they probably think that anyway
