Normally the agent who gets you the role should be well up on this stuff, if they are not, I would re-think going with them.

Qatar is a long way to go to be messed about. I would only take a role with an agent who is well known for having roles in that area, like RMIT etc.

Ask the agent for a contact number of someone in their back office as you have some questions, if you don't get an answer, run.
