    That defines a socialist.

As soon as economic awareness dawns, they cease to be socialist any more.

It happened to loads of friends from school, including me.

C&W & MFI had it coming, cause they're sh1t, not cause GB is.

Energy prices are going up cause north sea gas is running out and the cost of oil is high. However much you'd like to pin the on Gordon, you can't.

Houseprice dipping is a good thing if you ask me, they're overvalued at the moment and this report is purely subjective - go search and you'll find other bodies saying house prices rose for the fastest rate in two years in February. Who feckin knows.

Retail sales dropped yes, the same reports say the overall trend is upwards and the knock on effect could be an interest rate cut according to 'financial experts', obviously helping house prices.

FFS if you're gonna have a whinge at labour (And feck me they need it) can we put a wee try to steer clear of the daily mail hysteria type posts and get it in perspective.

But I doubt they would have got inland as far as Elstree without alerting a policeman.
Mmm. But if the police had come across a person in a wet rubber suit, speaking English with a strange accent, would they not have been dismissed as a typical Norfolk inbred mutant on the way to a good night out?

Not like today, when a policeman would give them directions to Croydon and a few bob for their train fare.

But then again, Croydon is in Surrey.

I think we should ask Charles Kennedy to drink his whisky neat. That'll solve the water shortage.

Borehamwood actually, but Elstree sounds posher.

Not many nips in either of them.

When I was a kid, the father of a lad who lived near me fought the nips in the war.

All this lad ever wanted to play was war, and if there weren't enough kids to play that, he'd hole himself up in the woods nearby to ambush japs if they came past. I last saw him when I was about 11. Perhaps he's still there.
