Helpdesk Noddies
Had a problem with the PC I'm using at the client's site. Not having any admin rights I had to go through the noddy helpdesk.
After remotely accessing my PC, it rapidly became apparent that the 'analyst' didn't have a clue. In the end, the analyst decided to uninstall MS Office and reboot - at which point the remote connection was obviously terminated and the analyst decided to end the call without further instruction.
Bearing in mind that the machine is now stripped of MS Office and that the analyst knows my telephone number - how did she choose to inform me of the next step? By sending a fecking e-mail :rolleyesTags: None
