maybe police, to avoid loss of face, are planting items here and there
or maybe the gang is playing a "smoke and mirrors" game as you said
who knows ?

Police have fired shots at a car...
Why? Was the driver wearing a rucksack?

Six people have been arrested so far, and all have been release on bail -- I wonder how much bail money they were asked to pay?! £50m?!
Police don't know anything yet.

That £50 Million Heist
£50 million heist
Im getting a bit confused with this. A group of very organised individuals pull off a stunning robbery. Next thing is, one person is going into the bank to pay in 6 grand with the name of the depot written on bands on the notes, they dump 2 million in cash in another van, they find guns and arrest another two really quickly.
Now there are two things in play here
a) The gang are leaving massive red herrings around while they do a runner
b) The gang were just lucky and are actually as thick as pig sh1t at which point its amazing they ever found out where the managed lived.
So either the police are going to look clever for wrapping it up, or alternatively they are going to land up with the biggest egg on face, when it transpires theyve been following the wrong leads.
