I'm still waiting for my tax disc which was ordered and paid for in december and the reminder for the tax disc for my other car that was sent out over a month ago. So I have one car with an out of date disc although I paid for a new one from the start of this month, and another which has a tax disc which runs out in 2 weeks....so now I have the fun of finding all the paperwork in our tuliphole of a house to get it taxed the old way
That happened to me, you will have to wait for it to turn up as the post office wont be able to sort it out, when they access the dvla system it will tell them the car is already taxed so they wont issue a tax disc.

ClientCo are having their Christmas party this week. Does that count?
Back in permie days we had a Christmas bash in February. That was because the MD wanted to attend the bashes of all the subsidiary companies, and there were quite a few, so we had to wait our turn.
Said MD did like to party, and it was no expense spared, so we didn't complain.
The Royal Mail Service is much maligned and wrongly so from my experience. In fact our postman is the only person I leave a Christmas box. Certainly wouldn't give one to those waste of space dustmen.
