An experienced IT professional with project management background is needed to help a social business organisation in Sri Lanka, to assist the district programmes to be on board of OMS platform. District offices lack resources in IT management. Key purpose of this project is to support/mentor the organisation to successfully deploy the OMS into the regional offices and to transfer necessary skills for ongoing sustainable success of the OMS to the broader network and/or regional office staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Agree on a plan for migration of existing data and training for sub users as per the OMS work plan and concur with Project leads at the organisation.
• Mentor the organisation resources in rolling out the OMS to the district chambers and support in conducting training to district OMS handlers, together with the organisation.
• Support in the development and implementation of a training plan and communication plan, suggest operational hierarchy.
• Support in the development and implementation of a test plan.
Please note that this is a voluntary position. Our volunteers are required to raise some funds to cover their time overseas.
