    Late?

April 2005 ?company? accounts - you're late with Companies House, but not with IR yet - although you do need to pay and Corporation Tax due.

Personal tax for 04/05 - tax return must be submitted by 31/01/06 and any tax paid. But if you don't owe any tax and your return is late there will be no penalties. Penalties cannot exceed any unpaid tax.

Be careful - one investigation triggers another. Every department has different rules but no company accounts and you could find companies house strike you off - and you lose all the companies money.

    Late Company & Personal Tax

Exactly how late can you be filing these before it gets really messy.

I am yet to post my April 2005 accounts or personal tax?

Apart from the £100 fines I would have got last month, when does it get real messy?
