They've brought in a machine to hack away at the ice on the M8. Supposedly there's a couple of inches on the surface. Ploughs don't make a difference in fact there have been reports of blades breaking.

45 miles of underfloor heating. It's the only option.

The girly has got a 15 mile drive on the M8 to get to work, it is apparently a total nightmare, Dancing on Ice stuff.

The heating just came on, set it to automatically come on when the house gets to 11 degrees.
