Labour seem to be on thin ice just now and as much as I disliked them they did have some heavy weight politicians hanging about the cabinet that could pitch the party line with vigour and conviction. Ed Balls looks like a teacher who cannot be arsed telling your mum why you failed the last French test. Milliband looks like a teacher who failed the teaching degree.
I think it is important that the opposition is strong and questions every decision a Government makes. These losers are just making idiots of themselves.

Hopefully they'll keep Milliband because it'll at least reduce the chance of that god-awful political party from ever being re-elected...

I quite liked Milliband's sarcastic comment about Clegg having to leave the country on important business around the time of the Uni fees vote. Although it would have been better if he hadn't returned prior to it.

IMO, similar situation here - the other Milliband was potentially more appealing to voters.
Labours recent attempts to re-badge themselves as 'beyond new Labour' are desperate - as if the previous Labour years in Govt. never happened.
Well I didn't agree with many things that Blair did, but he had an agenda and did things.
Brown on the other hand was a damp squib ...

Milliband Junior was election because unions said so - they've got massive power within Liebor party, and why not since it's them who finances it now (it's a bit harder to give Lordships to sponsors now).

Ed Millibad won't last long, he's useless. Labour will get rid.

Ed Milliband just hasnt got it.
I think he is going to get the boot.
I watched question time on Thursday and Lib Dem 'Danny Alexander' was just awful. He was as meek as a mouse, and couldn't defend a single point effectively. His lack of voice meant he was drowned out at every opportunity to defend, whereas a more established politician would have made sure they were heard out, even if it killed them trying. The audience had decided from the start he was doomed. Such a shame David Laws had to drop out of the coalition, but perhaps he'll be back sooner than we think.
