If you get them used to it early enough, then they will enjoy it.
Shouldn't look on parenthood as an encumbrance BTW

Saturday was a great walking day. I did a 5 mile walk along the River Wriggle in Dorset.

This weekend back to Clumber - round the lake twice, that's 10 miles.

I've been very fortunate with the weather, not sure how I'll cope with the rain.

A short walking holiday in the lakes sounds great - thanks Chef for the B&B idea.

Best of all - the Missus is keen as I am.

    Long may it continue!

We're off to Istanbul at Xmas even more walking.

    Great weather on Saturday.

Lightens the mood, time to think and the sense of achievement.

    Thinking of building up to...

    Rambling round Rutland water.

I shoudda done this when I was benched!

Endorphins - what a rush, man...

That's me, Norrahe, and now you. We could start a CUK rambling club.

    Seriously, it sounds great fun.

    Fixed That For You

however, I must agree with the walking idea, went hiking the french/italian alps border early this summer for 5 days which was extremely relaxing and spent 3 days walking around the lake district early autumn which was just as nice but very different as they were 1 day / 6-8hr walks but coming home to a fantastic B&b as a great reward for a hard days hiking, the best of both worlds :-) and gf chef very much appreciated the roll top bath at the end of the day
