A bizarre night right enough. I expected us to still be a point behind your mob at best after those fixtures as I expected you lot to win, and hoped that we would too. The fact that we are, and slightly increased our goal difference too still does not cover up the fact that we were mince again.
Lennon just does not seem to learn that 2 of our players up against 5 opposition players in the middle of the park, just does not work.
Still, on the plus side for us, Walter does not seem to have learned that with a small squad, it is impossible to squeeze 50-60 good matches out of the same 14 players. The fact he has not blooded a few of his youngsters is starting to result in injury and fatigue for his first picks now. Which can only be a good thing!
