It's thought. Discovered after a 'review' 48 hours later. Very sad. Ordinarily I might say a rescue attempt was worth the effort, as paying a ransom for one may be a death penalty for dozens more, but as a captive I think I might rather take my chances with sunbaked religious zealots than with a Yank rescue attempt.

Brave girl. I wouldn't be surprised if being an aid worker was more dangerous than serving out there. The former are being knocked off so fast they almost need a charity of their own.
