Currently what Mrs scooter and I are discussing... I'm not one to burn bridges needlessly but we both agree in this game you've got to look after no. 1 because no one else will.

Leave on good terms making some excuse about needing to be near family for a short term reason and that you will be back?Originally posted by scooterscot View PostDon't ask don't get...

Or 3 hours on the train..Originally posted by norrahe View PostTake the money and run, and it's only 45 mins flight from Schipol to City Airport!!
It is tempting. Especially when your hourly rate moves into the 3 figured bracket... and paid holidays!

Go east to prenzlauer berg for an edgy, amazing nightlife, you might be eating in an old underground bunker one night and 21st century architectural designed building the next. If shopping is your thing go to Ka Da Va on Kurfürstendamm, makes Harrods look like the pound shop. It's not crowed, people are almost too friendly.
Then there's massive fish being waved in my face.
Working in the Netherlands I think would offer a good quality of life also, London is just 5 hours away on the train... but Berlin....

It's better to be safe than sorry. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
