    In the days when I could get regular work (seems a long time ago now) I considered buying a flat in Glasgow - maybe it's the climate but the build quality seemed better than those down here in the south of England. I wouldn't have gone for the new Gorbals developments though, I was looking more at the west end and/or Partick. Climate's not the best, but it's more than compensated by the sociability of the local people and the surrounding scenery. Ah well, another "what if..."
