Indeed it does, if you know what you are doing.

I once walked into a casino with a mate, and he said pick a number and I said 5. He then backed all four roulette tables on the number 5. 2 out of the 4 came up trumps. He put a fair whack down on each one. It was Christmas time and he was feeling generous so handed me about £250 in chips and said "have fun".

This was before I was a contractor so this was quite welcome and we had a cracking night.

We were immediately banned from doing "neighbouring bets" though

True story.
