When you're falling awake
and you take stock of the new day
and you hear your voice croak
as you choke on what
you need to say
Life's a long song.
Life's a long song.
Precisely now - as the pages of the Book of your Life
unfold and
your soul suffers the long day
and the twelve o'clock gloom
spins the room
you struggle on your way
Well, don't you sigh
don't you cry
lick the dust from your eye.
Life's a long song.
Life's a long song.
Life's a long song

my current role means I see the dead on a regular basis but just recently I have been seeing more and more people of my generation - its the reel young ones that make you cry like a baby though.
for me personally i have not had to experience it - something i know will come and I am not looking forward to it

Had that twice in the last year. Both women, both breast cancer, both 'cured' both left husbands with young kids (<2 years old)!Originally posted by scooterscot View PostJust got in touch with an old work colleague from years back only to learn that a female colleague I worked alongside had passed away from cancer a few years ago. So people listen up, life is short... so make it a good one.
