Whats with all the hate towards the new Civic?

My dad's got one (company car) and its brilliant. 2.2 diesel is loads of fun compared to most other similar cars & aint too bad on the wallet either with 55mpg.

TypeR civic is dead.

And what of Toyota? Where's the MR2, Celica, Supra? All dead.

Next Type R will probably be a 1 litre diesel with a battery stuck up it's arse.

The view in the rear mirror is terribly obscured by the daft plastic spolier, but, all things considered, this is the most fun can I have ever driven, as well as the most ugly.

Includes company 320, C class and owning a GTV and MX5.

It just blew my brains away at how quickly I could overtake anything.

I did not drive it at stupid speeds, just loved the accelleration and pulling away from anything thinking TypeR - Let's race it!

I was looking at one of these last time I was buying, and was astounded how flimsy the body panels are on them.

Needless to say gives very little protection when progressing as Wilmslow implies he was.

I didn't buy one.
