I was going to suggest £28K. But you're right - it's tough out there.

Welcome to the forum. I would however expect anyone who had been on £900 per day to be intelligent enough to work it out for themselves. You question seems to be from a £90 per day real contractor or someone who has been milking the Public sector gravy train yet has no saleable skills.
I’ve been contracting for donkeys of years. Can’t even remember last time I was in a permie role. I'm beginning to think of going permie now. Alot of clients and agencies been asking me what base salary I'd require?
